Re: Stacking wheel spacers???

X2 on the "real axle" or at least the proper offset wheel. One spacer is not really good because of the tendency to loosen or break and 2 is double bad. (If thats a word).

I'm with Turtle - but be sure to video all your trail runs so we can post something like this...

fwiw, I run (single) 1.5" spacers on my rear Scout D44 and have no problems at all.

You could adjust your steering stops too. That's what I did on
my XJ. Sounds like you need less back space on the rear rims too.

Re: Stacking wheel spacers???

Why not a combo of less backspace rims and spacers?
I'm running 2.25" spacers and 2" bs wheels. I had to too clear the creepies and quit hitting the joints on my steering.
I've had it that way for over 2 years and no problems. The only time i ever lost a wheel it was the stock lug bolts that broke not the spacer. Cragar will make custom bs rims for cheap. Not the best rims in the world but beats double stacking spacers imo.

Exactly, remember harnesses, helmet, video camera...not necessarily in that order.
