Thank you sir! Iím getting pretty excited. I went and picked up the chassis today and Brian did an amazing job. I will be taking everything over to Jeff at Diamond fab to get it to roller status. He will be doing all the hard stuff and I will play shop *****.

Introduced the axles to the chassis today. Set up 113Ē wheelbase with 20Ē belly and 73Ē to top of roof. If all goes well tomorrow hope to set the drivetrain in place and see how it all fits. Also the Atlas showed up today a week early!

Jeff and I Got the drive train in tonight.... kinda. That sexy Tilden pan hits the JHF skid, itís a little too wide. We are going to have to modify the skid quite a bit. Iím done for a few days but we will get back after it this weekend. I expect things to really slow down here for a bit.

    Here are a few pics.

Not a lot to update over the last 10 days. Jeff got the drive train all mounted up and has started on the front axle. Lower links are done he and starting to mock up the ram mount and upper link mounts.

Engine mounts, designed to give plenty of up travel and stay out of the way of the upper control arms.

Trans mount and removable crossmember. It will have some gussets as well.

    T-case mount

    Lower links

    MERICA2.0 rear steer buggy build

Things are moving along, got the front ram mount and skid all done. Jeff is doing an amazing job. Itís looking great and definitely on schedule. Front should be linked up and mounted under the chassis by the weekend. Goal is to get the rear done by the end of next week.

    Here are a few pics

    Plenty of clearance and protection.

Where the ram will mount up.

Ram will sit just a hair higher than in this pic

The welds, much sexier than mine!!

Iíve been stock piling a bunch more parts Iíll start posting some pics of them tomorrow. Also my 3rds should be here Monday so it wonít look all goofy anymore with that low pinion in there!

Re: MERICA2.0 rear steer buggy build

Here are some more parts Iíve been rounding up. Still waiting on the seats and the center console, then I will start setting everything up in the ****pit.

    More good stopping stuff

10 gallon fuel cell. I picked this one for its size. I will mount it all the way in the rear. Itís only 9Ē wide so I will still have easy access to my cooler, tools and parts

I should be able to hit reverse quick with this shifter

    And a few more parts
