Time to regear - looking for advice / input in exchange for a little happy hour

    Greetings,

2008 auto Rubicon JKU, on 35's and likely staying there (doubt 37's are in the future). Daily driver with light to moderate occasonal rock crawling. Looking at 4:56 or 4:88, unbelivabele amount of input out there with one side not really outweighing the other so I figure see if I can drive one of each and chat with owner I can get a good idea which way to go.

If possible to have one voluenteer each closely matching my money pit I'm happy to pick up a little happy hour afterwards, just another reason to talk jeeps and have a few beers.

In the north valley for whomever is interested.

Make sure you get someone who has the 3.8. It is pretty dramatically different than the 3.6.

I recommend talking to Jason at absolute off road, he is very knowledgeable and will talk to you about what you do with your jeep and why you need one ratio over the other. He is also in the the north valley. Stop in the store and talk face to face.

I did my own gears. Very intimidating but once you done you realize it wasn't that bad.
The main things is there are no short cuts and you need the right tools.

Break it in the right way!

    IMHO
