Polarity wrong on one light?
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to hook up my L.E.D. Spotlights by wiring them to my fog light harness. I am using a relay, and everything works great until I start the engine. The relay starts buzzing, and only one set of lights begin flickering intermittently? The other lights stay on as they should? I checked the voltage of the fog light lead and it is just over 9 volts? Please help...

Ummmmmmm, probably not. They were working fine when I had them on a normal switch.

Sounds like Day time running lights. 9v is about correct for drl. The chatting is caused by the pulse width modulation they use to reduce the voltage.

Sounds like a jk problem. Lol. On my tj the led fog lights work great.
Yes it's a JK problem. Take a look at antiflicker harnesses on amazon. Or you could solder a small capacitor across the trigger side of the relay to hold it 'on' when the pulse goes away.
Ok, I have tried capacitors and even a 9 volt relay and nothing is fixing this issue. There has got to be a way this has been done successfully???
