well I have no drive shaft vibrations to worry about. Already have an HD drivesahft in the rear that the PO put on, and I am fixing some of the driveline angles this weekend. Why would I want an SYE then since its already seal. Flexing at table mesa made the slip yoke pull out on my YJ and that was the moment I realized EXACTLY why I needed an SYE.... WHy do I need it for the TJ then? Sorry in advance if I sound like a Dumb A** but I want to understand for future knowledge.

Well, when I crawl under my TJ with a mere 2" lift I can see why I need one. Just sitting on level ground, the front u joint of my rear drive shaft is at a bad angle, the SYE would allow a longer drive shaft that would reduce that angle and allow the rear to drop more.

Perfect, thats the answer I was looking for. In my head that made the most sense but as stated before, my YJ was for other reasons.
