GMC, but seeing as the only real difference is the grille and the tailgate, I'll give it a pass

The paint is some generic single-stage medium blue that a shop did a half-*** job of in 2000. It is the very definition of a ten-footer right now and it flakes if you look at it funny. I'd love to take the whole truck down to bare metal and repaint it with some proper OE-grade paint but I don't have the room to have the truck that far apart, and I probably wouldn't drive it for another ten years at the rate I work.

That is exactly like my paint job. Great from ten feet but crap up close. I kind of prefer it. I'm not scared to drive it. A good job starts at 15k so I'll take it.

Cruise on Central is this weekend! Usually a big event. I tend not to be able to stay the entire time but can at least hang out for a few hours. Let me know if you are headed out and we can grab a few spots in the lot. Its usually $15 to park but that gets you a shirt and plaque. I tend to go mid day and bail in the afternoon heat.

Thanks! It's not the best performance setup, a 4bbl would be a better choice, but it has more 'cool' factor.

That Plymouth is gorgeous and the pictures are awesome. Great lighting and color, really shows off the car.

Mine is bordering on the worst of both worlds because it damages so easily. A ding that would be either a paintless repair or a minor scuff on anything else will take the paint off of my C10. But, yeah, I'm making an effort to get it on the road more often and finish up so many of the little things I've left undone.

I certainly can't afford to pay someone to take the whole truck apart at a bodyshop so the only way it does get blasted / resprayed is whenever I buy some property with room for a proper workshop. At that point it'd also be getting a Porterbuilt IFS and four-link.

I ride this when I can. Alas, the carbs are plugged up again. What a pain to clean and sync 6 carbs.
