BLM Scoping Meetings for Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee Counties

Posting a heads up that there have been new scoping meetings scheduled for the above counties. Anybody close by who can make one of these? They are getting ready for a new TMP.

    BLM Scoping Meetings
    Graham, Greenlee and Cochise Counties
The BLM is asking for your input on the motorized travel management plan for the Safford Field Office. It is important the you, as a motorized user, be involved in this process.
This plan is for the area that BLM administers along U.S. Highway 70 from St. Thomas to the New Mexico border, north to Clifton/Morenci and south to I-10. This plan covers parts of Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.
If you use public lands for motorized recreation and/or hunting, the federal land managers would like to have you give them your input on what areas you use in the scope of the project. This plan will include motorized but also non-motorized travel.
    The meetings will be:
Tuesday 9/26/2017 - Valley Telecom Building 752 W. Maley Street, Wilcox, AZ.
Wednesday 9/27/2017 - Bureau of Land Management, Safford Field Office, 711 S. 14th Street, Safford, AZ.
Please share this message with other recreational users.

If you would pry your sorry arse out the Scottsdale Fashion Square once in a while you would know more about the BLM and the USFS (you do know those acronyms, right?).

Such B.S.. They put the meetings on weeknights so anyone that lives elsewhere and uses the trails on weekends can't make the meetings.

Thanks for attending. Are there any highlights or issues we should be concerned about?

Today is it, if you want to attend one of these meetings. They didn't give us much notice. I got the email and pushed it, on Monday...
