What happened to the 55+ forum?

On Monday (thanks in advance to the whole country for celebrating my 55th birthday with me) I become eligible to join the 55+ forum but now I can't find it. Don't tell me it died before I could get there. I want a place to complain about how difficult it has become to get in and out of my lifted jeep with others who understand the miseries of old age.

If you think it's tough to get into your lifted Jeep at 55, wait 20 more years. We gave up trying three years ago when I built a pair of tube doors that hinge down. Now, it's just a simple step and we are in. We should be good now for another 10-15 years or until I forget where I parked the Jeep. :-)

55+ Forum isn't dead...but maybe the members RIP??? Never know with you old guys! ;-)

Doug - saw your LJ at Letzroll, right? When you around again? Need to get together and do some wheeling.

Ok, well thanks. My phone doesn't follow the link to anything and on-line it say's I don't have access (which is understandable). Just glad to hear it's not dead (yet). Andrew, the difficulty getting into my jeep was just metaphorical. I would actually have to have a running jeep that I actually used in order to have difficulty getting into it.

    Thanks, guys.

I suppose we could do a 55+ meet and greet. Say 4:00 at a Village Inn. Catch the early bird special.

    Kidding. Happy birthday.

Yep, he's building me a 14 bolt. It has been awhile since I was in the area. We moved to Lake Havasu for our winter home. In Jan, our group will spend a week in Johnson Valley, then in Parker/Havasu followed by several days at Table Mesa and Bumble Bee. It would be nice to have you and Huck join me and my son for a day of challenge. Also, you, Huck and Andrew are welcome to come to Havasu and run some of our trails. You would like Bawler Canyon, Black Mamba, King Cobra and Black Viper.

Happy Birthday! You're exactly one year younger than my husband on Monday. Luckily for him he's having no issues getting in and out of either of our lifted Jeeps. Now I am a different story. The Jeeps keep getting taller, and I keep getting shorter. The challenge is real.
