    Worn Dipstick

    Is anyone selling after market dip sticks? Mine doesn't reach the oil anymore.

    If you add a bit of water to the crank case it will raise up the oil towards the dip stick.

    Put some oil on it and rub it between you thumb and index finger, it will grow

    I hate to admit that it took my brain more than 30 seconds to get the joke... Partially because I used to own a car that had a plastic end on the dipstick that liked to break off, and cause havoc, and partially because I was trying to imagine what would wear a metal metal dipstick out.

    Too funny.
