    Krispy's Cherokee

Its been to long time and the desert has been calling me, so I had to answer. My plan required the cheapest, Cherokee i could find. After some searching I found the perfect one. I went to check it out, covered with dirt, 3 flat tires, didn't run and smelled very bad. Perfect! So after forking over 3 hundred dollars I had my project.

    Re: Krispy's Cherokee

When I went to see it, it was a hot day and all the doors shut and windows up. I opened the door I was overcome with a foul smell. I knew it was sitting for a long time and it was very dirty so I didn't thing to much about it. During my cleaning I found the culprit a dead cat melted into the passenger side carpet under the seat. It was there for a long time only the skeleton remained and the smell of course. Poor little guy, hope its not a bad omen. I'm taking procautions anyway and cutting the doors off so I cant get locked in.

I was thinking of naming it "El Gato" as tribute. I like it.

Viva El Gato! Nice find for 3 bills! What's it need to run? Or are you swapping out the engine drive train?

    Re: Krispy's Cherokee

Year wasn't a bad find. I need to make sure it runs first. It came with a red top, the 3 year free replacement expired the same month I got so being a auto tech I talked to the Napa rep and Napa gave me a new one. It pays to have friends. So I paid 300 for the jeep and I got a new $250 battery with it, so what ever happens I think I'm ahead.

You don't need a Plan "B", if Jesus is plan "A".
