    Thank you!

Eric, if you havent already, check out Artec's JK SD swap kit I was telling you about. These axles can be found for under $1k and build decent for around $5k DIY. The aftermarket is also growing daily, though not much is needed for these USDA pure beef axles wrapped in Artec!

Oh no.. didn't say budget tons.... I need to get money for the budget so I can do tons. When I do tons it will be right. Probably the same time as a pretty extensive overhaul of the heep. Going to be a bit unless I really break something big like an axle or the transfer case or the frame. Already going to have to dive back into the transmission and probably the computers. Just adds more delay into getting it to where I want it.

But this is Bugs' bling thread... back to drooling over his axles....

Ha. I'm getting my wheeling in now, since once you have the beast built, I won't be able to follow your lines!

Ordered high steer knuckles, both sides, from a company out of California called Weaver Fabrication. It was a toss up between them and Reid knuckles, they both seem very stout, but had some doubts with the Reids, also their pricing is high. Trails will tell!

I think I have decided to do full hydro steering, have some more research to do, but everything is pointing in that direction.

    From their web site~

Got some more welding done tonight; spring perches, track bar and UCA brackets, will melt on the LCA bracket tomorrow night, paint it Friday night and install it Saturday. This is the plan anyway...

Starting to look like a TJ axle!

You will want to wrap the welds all the way around the brackets. That will reduce stress risers.
