Got some cheap 1.5" fence post tubing to make some mock up arms in case I measure once and cut once ...
When I'm done with this steel I will make a flag pole out of them!

I got a little carried away with the red paint, but red was the only high temp paint I had. Glad I didn't have any orange...

    Guess this voids the warranty!

Cut the rear frame off to prep for the back half stretch. This was easier and quicker than I thought!

I need to return this sand to Sycamore and Hackberry!

    Update 6/17/18:
Do not weld the circled areas until you have the frame side and new rail side set where you want them. SEE Post 178

I had to cut the LCA brackets off when I did my long arm kit. It was scary for me as a newer Jeeper. Looking great!

Man are you ever going to finish this thing?
I did my 1 ton conversion in 4 weeks, Flopped it and replaced the tub and all body panels, painted and new cage, And your still messing with steering.

Re: ARTEC Beta Kit/Superduty TJ Build~

    Some progress this weekend!

Cut the body to run the new raised frame rails through.
Have not decided yet how I want the bumper, depends if I do a rear winch under the tub.

I made the mistake of completely welding the kit together and had difficulties fitting the pieces to the stock frame rail stubs. Tried spreading the ends with a hydrolic porta power, but no go. Ended up making two expansion cuts on each end, then used the spreader. Anyone doing this kit, don't weld the ends until you have fitted the rails in place.
First time I've used a portable power, great tool!

Both welded together, will decide this week if I do the winch and will need to make a strong platform for it,
