    Re: Anybody recogonize this Rubi???

    Ok everybody, here's the deal!
I'm gonna say this is a ligit situation.
His name is Jeff and without giving to much personal detail .....
Tim(bugger) died of a heart attack this past summer and. His brother is just searching for memories in the form of vids or pics of Tim to pass on to his son! I'll except those pics and vids or even links to pass on to Jeff next week as he travels thru phoenix for work.
Shortbus and I had a lengthy conversation about Tim and it seems he was the last one to do some serious wheeling with Tim.
Thx for the info and chat MR shortbus.
I kinda snooped my way around with Q's to see if it was ligit and I've come to the conclusion IN MY OPINION. That he is his brother!
    So with that being said,,,,,

We've lost a member here in VJC and I'll ask all to say a prayer for the family!

on behalf of all the AZVJC FAMILY
    RIP TIM!
    God bless the family.
    Dave

Dave, Same here. Let me know if you can. I think Barry (Metalman) and I both have pictures from Rolling Stone and Hackberry.

What I do know is that Tim couldn't make it up this obstacle in that jeep and I did with 33" all terrains at the time lol 😛

    wow RIP Tim for sure.

I have some photos of him that i'll try to dig up and post. I remember wheeling with him a few times just after he upgraded his JK to 40's. Super nice guy and had a ton of stories!

    Sorry for your loss.

    Re: Anybody recogonize this Rubi???

Thank you all...and thank you for the pictures!!!
Just to let you know I have the jeep back here at home near ST. Louis MO along with most all of his stuff. He was cremated in AZ and we brought him back here. He is buried at Jefferson National Cemetery overlooking the Mississippi River and farther out, his home town. His son lives in Philly and I m trying to gather as many pix and videos as I can for him to remember his dad. Sorry to be a little strange about the earlier post but I really didn't know how to approach anybody about this issue and knew most would be a little skeptical.
If you would please send anything you have to 1explorer at charter dot net.
If you have anything at all it will really mean a lot to us and his son if you would share!

From my first VJC run in 2011 on Hackberry:

Tim's 40's made my 35's look like car tires. This was the first of many runs with Tim.
