    1 ton MJ build.

    My first build thread.

For those that don't kno me I am a bit crazy and I'm a known misfit who has a loveable tj nicknamed "Piglet", but very few kno I have an mj that needs lots of love. I was hunting get for a parts truck when I stumbled on this gem. A caged 89 long bed being parted out.

Initial thoughts were it's perfect, almost complete, and I can get what I need out of it. After talking to the owner and paying $500 for it, I got her home and decided y tear it apart. So I decided to build it. And since it was already caged I can save some money for other goodies. So off to the marketplace I went looking for axles, tires, and other goodies.

Well after a few messages and face to face meetings I had found my new to me axles and 37" pitbulls. As you will soon notice, and should have no problem figuring out, I'm not on too small of a budget.

    Tomorrow the build thrash begins.

This is going to be awesome! I am glad you started a build thread too.

For those who do not know, rock_starr and I have been collaborating on our two projects. We have a bit of a yin and yang thing going with them. My project ZJ is being limited to a $500 budget and will likely be a featherweight amongst other Jeeps when finished. Rock_starr's project MJ merely began with $500 and is sure to be a heavyweight contender when completed.

This will definitely be the build thread to watch.

Yeah. When I got to looking and trying to build a set I decided it was a better deal to get his axles and links.

Awesome, this will be an awesome build.
