Doesn't sound like the same one from what I heard about it.

Wierd. That makes three I've 'heard' about. (Spook Rally, Sycamore, & Lake Pleasant)Wonder what is fact/fiction? Hoping that we didn't really loose three people... Bummed that we lost anybody.
yah, Huck you newbie, Rubicon drivin', mall Cruisin', bling-bling, bolt-on, got no drivin skillz, drove thru a AutoZone with a crap magnet attached, H2 wannabe, poseur! Pay attention!
If you would pry your sorry arse out the Scottsdale Fashion Square once in a while you would know more about the BLM and the USFS (you do know those acronyms, right?).
This is just my opinion and I could be dead wrong. I think people have learned lessons about posting info on these types of situations. Whatever the circumstances, somebody, somewhere on the Internet turns it ugly. I'm thinking back to the Mendoza loss and others. And my opinion is based on Facebook. Not necessarily VJC. Anyway that's why I think there isn't a lot of info going around then Internet in the wheeling community.
There was a big party out at sycamore Friday night. There were no accidents at widow maker. The confusion was probably from 2 big gatherings at the same time. I have no info on the lake pleasant incident if there even was one.

I'll also like to say that Spook Rally and the gathering at V8 Hill are two mutually exclusive things. There are always people out hammering V8 Hill on the weekend nights, regardless of whether Spook Rally is going on. This incident on V8 Hill just happened to be the weekend Spook Rally was taking place, but it could have just as easily happened any other weekend.

This happened at the boulders ohv area otherwise known as the old p4w ranch. It was not part of the spook rally nor did it happen during the spook rally. it was a recreational night run I believe and no belts were worn although it had 5 point harnesses. He was a good guy, good customer and made a bad decision that will affect many people. Very sad indeed.
A little bit of something is a whole lot better than nothing.
Terrible to hear. Thoughts to those who have lost.

Good judgement comes from experience. Experience more often than not comes from bad judgement.
How many friends and/or fellow wheelers have to be lost til peeps get it?
I am guilty of not always wearing my shoulders "when conditions don't seem there is a potential for it" but its past time to learn how to drive with them on. I plan to do a lot more wheelin in my lifetime with or with out some of you maybe but I don't ever want this conversation to take place about ME.....
Prayers to the family and those who had to witness this mess.....
Thanks for the reminder Barry.
