    Lost Another Wheeler

Lost another wheeler possibly due to lack of Harness this past weekend. No real details so this info is not from the horses mouth concerning the use of safety.

If I see you not wearing a harness I will chuck rocks at your jeep, juggy, truggy or buggy...but will only do this if I care whether you live or not. Always, always eliminate the "What Ifs" and Harness Up.

    Re: Lost Another Wheelers

Great reminder, Barry. It was a very sad scene Friday night. Rig had harnesses and nobody had them on. 2 were very lucky to survive, one was not. The rollover was not that bad. The Jeep did a pirouette and rolled 1.5 times. If belts were worn, I believe they would have come away with only a few bumps and bruises.

Everyone, please keep the family in thoughts and prayers. There's a lot of healing to be done.

Thoughts and prayers to the family for sure. Horrible to hear about this happening. My rule is that everyone must be buckled in before the rig even begins to move. It's just not an option.

This was at Spook Rally, out by the Boulders OHV.

Heard on FB that the 2 locations were confused. As far as I know, the Boulders was the only one.

It is strangely quiet on the net about this. Can't find anything official.

I was told by a friend that someone died out at Lake Pleasant this weekend. It was a guy's son who is in the same business as me. Sounds different than the ones you guys are talking about.

    Not a good weekend...

On the lake, or wheeling? Deaths on the lake are common. There's a lot of stupid there. Luckily, nearly all of them just kill themselves and not innocent bystanders.
