    Lost tortoise in Gilbert

This is my big dinosaur! His name is Tater. He escaped from our RV gate sometime after we went to bed last night.

We live in the Cottonwood Crossings neighborhood on Warner Rd. between Greenfield and Val Vista.

I was crawling around the neighbors years peeking under their bushes. In and around the green belts. Lucky I wasn't shot.

If he's dug a hole in your backyard leave your gate open. They are territorial. He probably stayed in one spot through the heat of the day. He's getting ready to move. Good luck.

Thanks, I'll find a way to contain the other and leave the gate open. He isn't much of a digger as we have plenty of irrigation and shade.

Thanks. We put signs on every stop sign in our neighborhood and will be going out to walk the green belt and neighborhood again soon.

    Lost tortoise in Gilbert

I found one in my pool swimming about 5 years ago. Turned out it was my neighbor 3 houses up. Good luck on the search man.

That couldn't have been good. They are bricks.

Thanks. We'll keep looking and talking to neighbors.

Ohh it was all good. It was swimming around like a champ. I don't know what kind he was but maybe frisbee size.

    I hope you find him.

Good luck! ours is just a little bit smaller than a hokey puck currently, and she has gotten out a few times. My neighbors both have dogs, so I've gone nuts looking for her. I think my neighbors think I'm insane...

anyways, Good luck finding her. Ours has never gone very far from home, hopefully yours hasn't either.
