She's out grown her 10 gallon tank and hibernated through the winter so is big enough to be outside full time now.

    Bugs you are horrible.

AIC, please be careful with putting it outside right away. I was informed, to late, that it needs to be introduced slowly. After being in a tank, inside, with heat pads, light and all, for the first 6 years of their life, I lost one of my AZ desert tortoise. My vet said it was because I introduced her to the outside too fast. Just spreading the word.

My other one made it and is still doing well today in its new home.

Thanks for the warning, She spends 2-3 hours a day outside already, and this is in the shadiest part of the yard, with the shade on the cage, with lots of water. I'll be checking on her every day. Her 10 gallon tank is far too small, and she was getting depressed being in it all the time, and was trying to climb out all the time and ending up on her back which wasn't healthy for her either.

and bugs, she is a tortoise not a turtle, probably too tough and stringy to be any good to eat, that and she is about the size of the palm of your hand, it will be a few years before she's big enough to eat anyways.
