1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ $15,000 - built for OFFROAD but never been OFFROAD

Anyone in the market for a new jeep?

    Check out this gem.

    http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/4968038265.html

Must be gold plated frame or something. I should put my YJ up for sale for $25k right?

My favorite part of the add listing.

"Many extras: set-up for OFF ROAD. since ownership, it has never been off road, however--just tooooo nice! rebuilt engine at 152K, currently on the odo 187K. SO...35K miles on the engine"

Asked a few questions through email and here is his response.

Hey there! I know nothing about any of the questions you asked. I always wanted a Jeep. I was in a Very Bad motorcycle accident. Hit & Run. I was laid up for 7 long months. After I got well decided, that’s it for Bikes. I looked for a long time before buying the Jeep. I like toys. After I got it I put on all the extras. I know nothing about Engines. Come check it out. I promise you wont regret it! Thanks !"

Hey there! No I’m not a member of any club. I just wanted the Peep to look like I was in different clubs. I’ve got a couple of buddies who wanted me to go off roading with them. They give me **** all the time about getting my jeep dirty. Not my thing!"

Just look at all those horsepower(s) trying to escape from beneath the hood...I forgot to lock the passenger side of the hood and they're just kicking to get out onto the trail..... sorry couldn't resist.

Dang if this YJ is worth $15K my TJ has got to be worth over $30K based on his build sheet vs my build sheet...

Why aren't you coming to the YJ run in a week and a half?

Negative. He is not a member. Asked him and he said he's not part of any club.

Since when does rebuilding an engine make you go box c on the title?

Have some mechanical issues to address before I'm 'good to go' in my own mind: Recovery Points etc. Just getting front axle engagement squared. Hope to catch the next one, Scott.

does all the "bells and whistles" mean the 3 horns shown?

makes me rethink how much I sold my xj for...I should have asked for more.

When I first saw it I thought 15k for a TJ?? WT F is wrong with people. But then I noticed the headlights were square! He's doing what every other YJ owner does when selling their heap. They ask high (15,000.00) but will come down to what it's actually worth (14,999.99).

Pretty sweet jeep. Someone will be very happy with it.
