LJ double cardan drive shaft for SYE

Complete REAR drive shaft out of 2004 LJ with SYE. Very good condition. 52,000 miles. Right length for SYE on NP231 TC. Doesn't fit TJ.

If you are putting a SYE on your LJ transfer case, you need this. Or, if you have an LJ with SYE and need a spare.

I believe it might also fit the LJ Rubicon setup. Center line to center line, fully collapsed, from the inner most u-joint is about 22 1/2". Can be more precise on the measurement if needed.

I went 1 tons with 1350 u-joints so had to buy new drive shafts (over $900 worth)

    $150.

Have it shortened. Still cheaper than a new one.

How are the ujoints and such? How much do shops charge for shortening a driveshaft?

Thanks for coming out Rueben. Good to meet you!

For the rest of you, what Rueben found was that the cost ($100) of shortening the driveshaft down to fit a TJ pushes the total cost up to within $50 of the cost of having a new one made. So unless you can do the work yourself it isn't cost effective.
