    Rugged Ridge lift

Today is the day I get to order my lift.
I'm looking at a rugged ridge 18415.50 orv 2.5 to 3.5 lift kit.
Does any run this lift or have any input.

    Re: Rugged Ridge lift

Probably not going to get a lot of Rugged Ridge lift proponents around here. I have never purchased the Rugged Ridge brand other than for the neoprene cup holders that velcro to the roll bar, and a couple of trail storage bags....

Rugged Ridge is not a good choice for the JK...or much else really. TeraFlex manufactures the MOPAR lifts that Jeep recomends and that the dealer installs.

    That's great info!
I'm looking at the TFlex 3 inch kit right now. It's almost 400. More but I like it. It's got great reviews. And I've heard great things. Think I'm going to order it. Today. .

    Re: Rugged Ridge lift

Pass on rugged ridge and get the teraflex or aev lift. We have the Teraflex 2.5" suspension lift with bilstien 8100's on our JK and love the combo. Rides really smooth on the trails, flex's great, didn't require changing break lines or changing any drive shafts and it didn't break the bank. I vote TF or AEV 2.5" or 3.0". Anything beyond 3" you'll start looking at new drive shafts, longer break lines and other components where it starts to get costly.

    Re: Rugged Ridge lift

Looks like Im late to the party, but I agree that Rugged Ridge is not a quality lift.

Zone is actaully a decent budget lift. They are manufactured by BDS.

In this case I would consider Teraflex a step above Zone, so you made a great choice. Let me know if you need help with the install. If Im not too busy I may be able to help. I have all the tools needed in my garage.

    Re: Rugged Ridge lift

Great choice on the TF 2.5" lift! You'll love it. As you can see my Rubi has the TF 2.5" and we have 35" tires and they fit perfectly fine. No rubbing at max flex and it gets us where we need to go. It's a great lift height without spending a ton of money on required mods for much higher lifts. It's a great way to start and you can always upgrade pieces and parts here and there over time.
