So that's what you do with your time when you lose the Cold War.

Some of thos rigs look kind of cool, some look a bit strange.

Do you think they are part of an online offroad club. I'll bet some of the drivers are powered bym Vodka.

    Re: Four Wheeling in Russia

I would love to get my hands on one of the GAZ69's or a Uaz truck. They are super reliable and in most cases the running gear and engine are knock offs of the old flat fender jeeps. The GAZ69 has what looks like an old ford flat head 4 cyl with GM electrical system in it. The hubs look like they would accept any of the older jeep bolt on lock out hubs so as not to be full time 4wd. Funny thing is if you watch enough of the regular Russian civilian offroading vehicles you will come to find they don't do lockers in many of their trucks. Obviously on the competition level they are not much different then our rigs.

Those guys must be hammered. Crazy 2wd blue vans and naked dudes playin in the mud.... Russians lol

The 4wd's did look damn capable though. Surprising how they did in the mud with such small tires

The ural 4320's and Zil 131 are just about as indestructible a rig as it gets. I have several of those vids as one day I plan on getting into one of those big trucks.

BTW the UAZ 452 bus comes in 4 wheel drive. Great vids available on line of what can be done with that little van.

Did you guys log the Tonto National Forest? If you did then I would say you did a good job... there are no trees left.

    I'm not serious of course.
