    Who's the best carb guy....?

    1978 Jeep CJ5 258 - 6

I'm having trouble with my carb, I can's seem to get it to run right. I'm out of my league on this one but like an idiot, I monkeyed with it and made it worse....

Anyone have any idea who I can bring it to? Also need someone who can put in a new steering box.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeff

something to look at: ignition module... especially if Motocraft
Motocraft modules have multi-stage signaling and can / will mimic bad carb... take to O'Reily / Autozone to have tested (free)

I don't think 78 Jeeps had ignition modules. Use a timing light to check timing and watch for consistent fire and solid timing (ie doest fluctuate ) check for vacuum leaks. What Carb does it have?
