    Yokahama GEOLANDAR M/T+ 40 13.50 17

Anybody have any experience with these, or know someone who has them? Lookin for how they hold up and do out on the trails/rocks/and roads.

I had some Geolander LT's on my dodge 4x4 <04> they were OK on the FS roads but not allot of traction in rocky or wet surfaces, a good tire for highway and dirt <FS> roads IMO

I think they rated pretty well in a recent offroad magazine testing. I cannot recall what issue or mag off hand but it was within the last year.

I have been running only geolander A/T's on my rig...love them....super quiet on the road and i have not had any issues off road. Great sidewall and great tread wear...I have almost 30,000 miles on them and they are still at about 75% tread. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!! I am sure the M/T are built to the same standards just a bit more agressive with the tread. (I am running 315/70/17 so i think that might be a little smaller than what you are looking into)

    p.s. hope that helps.

On my third set (or there abouts due to single tire replacements) of the Yokahama GEOLANDAR M/T+ tires. The size I run is 285/75-16 though. (about 33-ish)

I have bought them thru tirerack.com and summitracing.com and then had them installed at places like walmart or firestone or whatever.

I have them on my 4Runner, which I use for hunting and for going up the mountain. Lots of hwy, dirt and gravel, mud, and light trails... I havent done a lot of "rock crawling" on them, but some 3-3.5 trails on them. The tires have been good. They wear better/longer than the Procomps similar tire on the streets. They are relatively quiet on the road until they get to the end of their life, then they get noisy.

For a tire in that size you mention though, I would seriously look into something from the Pitbull line.

Pitbulls are a Heavier and wider tire than what I'm looking for, and what I'm lookin at. If it was a buggy on a trailer, or a rig that's just goin to the trail and not driven around much on the road, yeah, I agree. I will most likely go the yokahama route and give em a try.
