Good info thanks. Few more questions if you dont mind? I pulled my headliner because it was beat to hell. What is that "stuff" you applied in place of the headliner and does it make a diff. or is it more for cosmetic? Also where did you get your carpet from? i need to get one since mine is gone. Thanks for the info..love watching the progress.

The stuff that I used on the inside is a roof coating that is mixed with some tan paint. I also used a webbing on the cross members to prevent rattles. The top of the roof has five coats of the the same product to keep the roof cool. Henrys elastomeric roof coating is what I recomend, (Home Depot). The web is hard to find, I will give you some. The carpet was out of a juck yard. We will be at the Table Mesa clean up. If you need more help PM your phone #. George

When installing that pacesetter make sure you get the pipes all the way in and clamped good mine seperated so I ended up welding mine was a huge issue for me but I also go through whoops and it had a rough life.

Install is done, and yes welding the Y pipe is the way to go. I used the clamps and have an exhaust leak. I plan to do the weld next time I take the header off. George

What did you use to block the EGR port? I used pretty much a large bolt that I found that fit in it.

The EGR port was not drilled into the tube so I cut the threaded part off. George
