    Ok, I checked out the abandoned truck and called in the VIN to the Forest Service Law Enforcement. Waiting for clearance.

    It's a 1988 Ford Ranger extra-cab. The steering column is busted and looks stolen to me. The glass is all smashed and the engine has some parts missing but it's still in good shape for recovery - all 4 tires still holding air as of about 6:30am today. Let's hope they stay that way for us.

    So, tomorrow(Sat 25th), 8AM, will be the tentative time for recovery. Meet at Butcher Jones, inside the green gate. Anyone that can make it would be appreciated. Might not need much help but better to have an army than not enough. Stay tuned for any updates...
