    Cool split sidewall

    does anyone know a place to have a sidewall repaired i was out at tm today with rob from 4wheelers and others and split my sidewall so any options would be appreciated.
    350 howell inj dana 60 front with a spool and full hydro and cromo stubs 9in in rear with a spool dana 300 tera low 4:1 sm420 with 410 gears and 38in swampers 4 linked all around.oh yeh it was a cj7.it was a jeepthing but all that s**t broke

    I was under the impression that if the sidewall was damaged, the tire was junk, I have seen some Frankenstein fixes to get home but no long term repairs.

    You might check with some of the larger tire co. that work on tractor tires and such. I think up to a certain size hole they can vulcanize it.

    Hey Charlie, what trail did you do that on?

    I can only imagine what I would of done to my rig if I had gone.

    the split was on matrix.you would have had a blast pam 4 rollovers a hole in a oil pan a busted radiater and a fuel prob lol a good day

    For minor cuts, abrasions, tears and splits you can try this:

    Its has worked well for me, but I am not talking a complete cut thru the sidewall.

    For future reference (assuming someone uses the search button), Robert's tire will vulcanize tires on the east side, Power and the 202. The shop Lance mentioned sounds closer to you based on your profile.

    Got any Matrix pic's to share ?
