Developer purchased the land and then got Goodyear to anex all the way down to 238. they promised a new school in Mobile and now dont have the money for it. there is a Goodyear fire station at 99th ave and 238 that the developer is paying all of the expenses for. I get to spend 3 months down there at the fire station starting in January. right now its a 4 mile drive to work and when we rotate down there it is a 40 mile drive to work.

Norm, when are you gonna run for office? As I posted on another thread, I have
been trying to eliminate the BS and find out what the real intentions are for this
area.{never trust a politician to give you a straight answer!!!] I was even told by
some wannabee bad ***** to mind my own business! Since you know me, you are
aware that that sort of answer was hazardous to his health. Stay in touch and
you know you got my vote no matter what office you run for!
Back in Texas, just between Dallas and Ft Worth was an area called 360. The Trinty River ran thru this and it was prone to flooding so no building was done there.
This area is split down the middle by a road (360). Since the land was mostly useless they took the land on the west side and after spending $MILLIONS built a city golf course...which flooded when it rained hard.
The land to the east was steep, rocky and made for a great wheeling area going back at LEAST to my college days in the 60's. Who knows how long it was wheeled before that.
After the golf course was built the city put east 360 off limits to OHV use: Note this area was used by bikes, quads, horses, Jeeps etc etc etc. So we approached the city and asked if they would allow OHV there and there was NOT a $$ requirement of any kind. The Answer was a resounding NO and HELL NO!
Golf course costing $$$MILLIONS OK OHV area costing nothing bad.![]()
