Nothing special, but it was my first quad. I'll be getting rid of it before I move, and hopefully get something like a Raptor or Predator when I get out there.

Why are you the only one with a name brand quad?

Because my wife was not sure if she was going to get into riding. So she said she would rather spend less on a new quad then the outragous amount on a name brander and not be that interested. My daughter found it and fell in love with it when we were buying my wifes. Roketa is a nice brand, not Honda and the like but not wal-mart special either. So far I am very impressed with the quality of the knock-off bikes.

So, how do you like the DS650, is it really top heavy like I hear some say. I have never ridden one and I do not know anyone that has one.

It is heavy, but if you are tall or a big boy like myself I couldn't imagine a more perfect sport quad. The suspension was ahead of it's time even on the plain jane ds650, the baja edition is even better, with it properly set up it floats over the whoops and jumps nice even with my big butt on it, lol. The thing makes a ton of power too, with me on it gets me pretty much anywhere pretty quick, with a your typical sub 200 lb rider this beast is extremely fast with very little done to it. And the seat is so comfy, I can ride this thing all day and still not feel beat up. Definately not the quad for a smaller person though, like I said you gotta be a bigger guy to really take advantage of it and be able to throw it around.

Thought you might want to see what that building looked like in the 1980's before some asshat destroyed it. It used to have the name William Bendix carved in the roof beam. He was an old actor from years gone past. Nice rides by the way.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. There's some weird steel collars inserted into the cement behind the house. Any idea what it was used for?
