Oldest Jeep picture/with you in Picture

    Here's some nostalgia for you.

My first Jeep. Year 1964. Jeep 1957 Jeep SW with 283 Chevy Motor.

    Show me yours.

P.S. I was 18 years old then. Long long long time ago!

Yes, it is me, circa 1975. It was tough to drive then... I had to sit on a few phone books and strap a block of wood to the bottom of my shoe.

Seuiously, my old man dug out that picture about this time last year to give to me, along with a bunch of pics he took in Vietnam. Very cool stuff. I remembered the hunting trip and the buck, but I didn't remember the picture. Judging from the way my parents dressed me, I can understand the mental block.

Let's see some more! I love these nostangia pics. Antman, any more pics of that '57? I'd like to see pics of the whole thing...

Sorry. that;s the only picture I have of that jeep. It had stock gearing, and some kind of MT we used back then with chrome rims.
It was very fast for the first 200 feet or so with the Chevy V8. I had it less than a year, and only wheeled it 2 or 3 trips to Mexico and hunting.
