Oh, and K7MTO... it sounds more like either wheel bearings or a spreading ear on an axle joint. Maybe even something as odd as a brake caliper or steering arm against the wheel or other mechanical interference of that sort.

    So, am I worthy LOL

I have decided that we CJers need a support group. I have felt each of that mans pains, and even bored you guys with some of them. All I know is that I love my CJ7. Maybe we all need to get together and do a run or something. I'm tired of being the only CJ on all but one of the runs I have done with this (TJ) club.

There's plenty of us out there, but as time goes by it's only natural to see less CJ's and more YJ's and TJ's. I suppose the Flatty owners felt the same way in the 50's and 60's.

Anytime you want to do an all CJ run, let me know. I'm sure we can get other CJ owners to come out of hiding and join us.

Hey, let's start AZVCJ (Arizona Virtual CJ's). That oughta really confuse everyone

sounds good to me. Although we might have to let a few TJ's run it with us, just so they will know what it feels like. Lets plan a CJ run.

Bruce's YJ is an honorary CJ, so maybe he can tag along, but he'll have to go to the end of the line

Post something up and let's see what kinds of responses you get. I know there are quite a few CJ's on the east side and likely all over the valley. Of course it's getting kind of hot for a day run (and not many CJ's have AC) so it'll either need to be a night run or we can plan for something in the fall.

Sure would be cool to see pics with nothing but CJ's

FINALLY!! Im in for a CJ run. I hate being the only CJ on runs, when something goes wrong the TJ owners are like "***, we havnt even got to the hard stuff yet and this guys already having engine problems, who invited this guy anyways" , come on dont deny it, thats what you're thinking

This week is a deffinate no, but next week is pretty wide open
K.I.S.S. engineering RULES, so do CJ's

If you break down that much, I might not want to wheel with you either

I'm busy Memorial weekend and I also have pager duty every third weekend (next ROTA is weekend of 6/3-4, then 6/24-25). With the temps the way they are, I'd prefer a night run, maybe a 7:30 start and get off the trail by 11 or 12.

Pffff ya, look, intersection=1.0, and mister Tyler's gotta get out for a few loose bolts.

    Definitely not worth inviting him.

Note the winking smiley in my post

Seriously, as long as you check over your junk after each run and take care of things in the garage instead of on the trail, life is much easier for everyone. I'm sure you don't have problems on every run you do....do you?

I sort have a regimen I go through after each run consisting of a visual inspection, checking/torquing bolts, fixing any known problems and checking/filling fluids, etc. Kind of like cleaning your house..if you stay on top of it it's easier than letting things go and having to play catch up.

Regardless, I'll wheel with you or anyone else unless/until they give me a reason not to

I might have to sneak in the back of that lineup along with Bruce...just so we can mess up your pics by throwing in a couple sets of square headlights!

Can my YJ be an honorary member of the club, too? It's a first year YJ, and I think I've returned as many YJ parts to the auto stores as I've kept...seems mine's a bastard, and if the YJ part don't fit, I buy the CJ one and it bolts right on! Plus, still carbureted and all leaves. And you'd rather me pull you off something than a TJ, right?!?! ;-)
