Arizona Military Vehicle Collectors Club Annual Military Vehicle Show

    Hello All!

I just wanted to let you all know that January 28th and 29th is the annual AMVCC military vehicle rally and show. We've been doing this show for several years, and it's a lot of fun. There are all sorts of jeeps that will be on display. My friend Greg has a restored MB, GPW and M151 that are second to none in the way of originality. If you visit http://www.armytrucks.org you can view all of the details. Parking for the event is $2 per vehicle, but I will see if I can get a AZVJC discount on parking. If you visit the site, you can see pictures of the M38 that I restored.

    Thanks,

They usually turn up some pretty amazing equipment. I've been able to admire some of this in the past. I also used to transport and undeck some for a couple of people around town here.
    Jeep to come soon. :drummer:

This is a good show. If you plan on buying stuff at the swap meet, show up early though. Even if you don't buy anything, the stuff they have is like a museum!

I didn't think about posting this as a run. I will get it posted on the calendar and on the old board.

Is there a trailer catagory in the judging?

I'm not sure about the trailer category. I will check with the other officers and find out.

I've always wanted to go to this. Is it still at the base at Papago?

Also, how much of a discount are you going to get off 2 bucks? It costs more than 2 bucks just to start the jeep
Well I was drunk, the day my mom got outta prison...

I tried the discount approach, but the club didn't go for it.

It's still at the National Guard base at 52nd street and McDowell. This show always puts out a good turn out. We have a lot of vehicles, food, raffles, an auction, and a couple of singers that come out and do 1940's songs.

    Cheers,
