I'm sitting at about 6.5"s now and my front DS is almost fully extended. So, do I want the slip yoke to be at the center of travel in running position? Being lifted I'm almost thinking it would be better to have more comression than extension. But that's just a guess.

And secondly.... where's a good place to take it to be lengthened? Should need between 2 and 3 inches. The few places I've called have ballparked it at about $150. That sound right?

BTW... Anyone know where the Signature editor went?

Thanks

Tell us alittle more about it, Are you running long-arms, short-arms, or drop brackets? If you happen to have Manual transmission you can grap a drive shaft from an auto, they're a couple inches longer.

It's an auto. I'm running the RE drop brackets w/ fixed lowers and adjustable uppers.

In that case, probably best to put it right in the middle, It wont slip much in either direction.

Go to Dick's driveshaft. If memory serves me correctly it is around 34 st & Indian School.
