To get your name in the Author Column instead of your E-mail address,
you have to:

1. Go into Account Information (Top Right of Screen)
2. You will see the Yahoo ID card, in the grey column on the right
you will see Edit/ Create Profiles (Click It)
3. Then you will see a Yellow set of Boxes/Strip with your Yahoo ID,
next to that you will see an Edit Link (click It)
4. It will come up with your profile information, if you do not have
your Name in it, it will display your e-mail address, If your Name is
not present click on the (Edit Profile Information) link. Put your
information in and then click finished and your next post should have
your Name instead of your E-mail.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [TR] Lake Pleasant to Crown King - Monday, February 5, 2001

Hello All,

This is an automated message from the website, please do not reply to it!

blake shepherd is leading a Lake Pleasant to Crown King trail run on Monday, February 5, 2001.

When: around 9 am
Where: Meet at the turn off for Lake Pleasant &; carefree.
Rating: 3.0
Length: All day
CB Channel: 4

Yes this is on a monday. My girlfriend has the day off and has never been to crown king. Plus there should still be some snow left.

The Lake Pleasang to Crown King trail is a local favorite. On any given weekend, there will be numerous groups of four wheelers, ATV's and motorcycles heading to and from Crown King.

The trail takes off from the Castle Hotsprings Rd and travels through the foot hills and up the side of the mountain, giving nice views of Lake Pleasant and the Valley. There are some tougher optional sections that can make it interesting.

The trail goes through the old ghost towns of Fort Misery and Oro Belle, both of which are remnants of the Mining era of the Bradshaw Mountains. All that remains now, are foundations and a few crumbling walls. Fort Misery makes a nice place to stop and eat lunch as the small creek usually has running water and there are trees to provide shade.

In the winter months, the trail from Fort Misery through Oro Belle to Crown King will often have snow and/or ice. In the summer, an early start is necessary to stay ahead of the rising temperatures.

Once on top of the mountain, the trail runs through the cool pines and into Crown King. In Crown King there are places to eat and have a drink, and a general store that sells some excellent fudge.

There are campgrounds on top of the mountain near Crown King for those wishing to stay overnight. The fastest way down is via the main road which leads through Cleator and toward Bumble Bee. You can split off and go through Cordes Junction, which will get you to the Freeway quicker, or keep going strait and go through the little town of Bumble Bee.

Alternatively, you can take the Senator Highway toward Prescott or Mayer, this can be a very interesting trail during snow season. If you have the time, follow Towers Mountain rd through Crown King and up to the top of Towers Mountain, there are some excellent views and you can join back up with the Senator Highway afterward.

Have fun, remember to bring water and your camera.

Enjoy, and remember to TREAD Lightly!

Try www.firestik.com. You should be able to find what you're looking for -
then give them a call and you can either order it from them or they will
tell you where you can get it locally. I've found that ordering from them
saves money and you get it quick.

One day, a man walked into the produce section of his local
supermarket and asked to buy half a head of lettuce. The
boy working in that department told him that they only sold
whole heads of lettuce. The man was insistent that the boy
ask his manager about the matter.
Walking into the back room, the boy said to his manager,
"Some jerk out there wants to buy only half a head of
lettuce." As he finished his sentence, he turned to find
the man standing right behind him, so he added, "And this
gentleman wants to buy the other half."
The manager approved the deal and the man went on his way.
Later the manager found the boy and said "I was impressed
with the way you got yourself out of that situation
earlier. We like people who think on their feet here. Where
are you from, son?"
"Minnesota, sir," the boy replied.
"Well, why did you leave Minnesota," the manager asked.
The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing but whores and hockey
players up there."
"Really!" said the manager. "My wife is from Minnesota!"

The boy replied, "No kidding? What team did she play for?"

Hey Everybody,
I'm hoping to do some lifting on my YJ in the near future and am in need of some parts and info.

Anybody know where I can get some good used spring packs to do an add-a-leaf front lift and 3/4 eliptical set-up?

Also wondering the best manufacturer for a 1" body lift, as well as a 1" poly-urethane motor mount lift/ poly-urethane tranny mount. Are Performance Accessories products any good? And of course, who's got the best deal?

I've had some bad experience with AA driveline ( Gloeco ). I've Dealt with
oscar and yes he's good to deal with until their's a problem. Short story-
They built me 3 yes three drives shafts before I finally got one that was
close to being balanced. Took it to Dick's in phoenix to have him check it
out and found out it had 2 yes Two flat spots and was slightly bent. So Dick
straightened it out and reballanced it and it works fine. Went back to talk
to oscar for the cost of reballance and he told me I should have brought it
back to him. After several attemps to reballance, does he actually think on
more try will do it.....He still owe's me $40.00 for getting it ballanced at
Dick's and the price difference from the original rockcrawler shaft to a
regular replacement that I ended up getting......I know I'll never get it..
This is my experience, other's may have had better or worse......you
decide.....

I like the 1" body lift that replaces the old mounts from Daystar. This way you get all new mounts plus the body lift. I have these on my YJ, I also have the 1" poly motor mounts from Currie that I got from Rubicon and the Teraflex Belly-Up skid plate. You will probly get the best price from Toybox Off Road.

As for the springs you can get some from the people that have the Jeep yard sale in Glendale there number is 602-548-6348 ask for John or Robert. I would recommend that you put rear springs on the front this is the same as adding a leaf without having to tear the spring pack apart.

As for the tranny mount I think that Performance Accessories is the way to go they seem to have good products but I have not used them yet.
