Subject: e-Groups now officially "Yahoo!Groups"

I use the "No-Mail Read on Web" option for messages. When I came in
this morning, everything was all screwy and I had to join Yahoo so
that I could access eGroups... but now it's Yahoo!Groups.

I noticed our club e-mail address changed from "az_vjc@egroups.com"
to "az_vjc@yahoogroups.com" you might want to make a note of that and
update your addressbooks.

Also, some members were asking why some members have names and others
have e-mail addresses for authors. I believe this is something that
is set up in your e-mail program. When a e-mail message is sent,
both a "name" and an "e-mail address" can be included in the message
header. If "name" is missing then the "e-mail address" is used to
identify who is sending the e-mail. Also, if you use the online form
to send a message to the group, it will use the information from your
Yahoo (used to be eGroups...) profile.

Hope this helps

- Mike

Art,

I sent you an e-mail earlier this morning about the duster cover. Did
you receive that as well?

I'm not too sure if this whole Yahoo cross-over is working right or
not.

Please e-mail me...

Ok, I tried going through the "conversion" process. It seems that every
name I pick has already been taken. What a pain!

Also, why do I have to provide a bunch of personal demographic info about
myself. I really don't want more junk mail (whether snail mail or email).
Is there any way around this?

Subject: Kinda Jeep stuff for Sale II (Stereo equip)

ok, its kinda jeep related (came out of the TJ listed earlier)

Homemade sub-woofer box, fits behind rear seat of TJ, with 15" (yep, FIFTEEN
inch) pyle subwoofer, its a couple years old, but still works good (not
carpeted, just raw 3/4" MDF) - $40

ALPINE 7914 AM/FM/CD - single din (normal size), with adapter plate to fit
jeep, this unit has NO built in amplifier, MUST be run with external amp,
very clean sounding, dual RCA's out (4ch) - $50

PIONEER DEH-445 AM/FM/CD - removable face, dual rca-out (4ch) built in 4x45w
amp, exc condition - $75

AUTOTEK FX3B 2/3CH X-OVER - 4 rca in, 6 out (left/right-front/rear + sub),
remote (wired) bass boost - $60 (new at frys - 129$)

ORION 280GX AMPLIFIER - 2ch x 80w each (160w) amp - $75

PPI 2150 AMPLIFIER - 2ch x 150w each (300w) amp - $100

PPI 2200 AMPLIFIER - 2ch x 200w each (400w) amp - $125

MISC - 2ga power cable (10 feet or so), 100amp circuit breaker, phoenix gold
power distribution block (2), rca cables (2) 15foot rockford fosgate, (3) 2
foot - $25 or may thow into multi-amp purchace

All this equip (except pioneer deck) was shoe-horned into a 97 tj
(under/behind rear seat), so cable lengths etc are good for installing back
into a TJ

I have a stock NP231 transfer case out of my 97 TJ for sale. It was behind
the manual tranny. ~40,000 miles on it when it was removed. Not too many
miles off-road.

Why am I selling it? I don't need 2 of them. I bought a spare to put the
tera 4 to 1 and SYE in without having to remove the old one from the Jeep
first. That tcase swap has been completed and I need to sell the extra one
for more mod money.

Can we start a new group, a branch from this one, that is maybe "for

There already is a "for sale" area on the Yahoo (ex egroups) site for sale
item. Click on databases.
Personally, I don't mind the for sale postings. I might need what someone
else doesn't need anymore. Swapping parts (even used) is all part of Jeepin.

How about just prefixing the subject with FS or WTB.

LU is used for land use bulletins
TR is used for trail ride announcements and reports

Sounds very reasonable. That way people can filter it out if they don't want

Subject: Bad steering problem question!!!

I have a 94YJ with 2 1/2 in. lift and long shackles (about 4 in. total lift).
Recently for no apparent reason it started what feels like bumpsteer.
What's different is if a hit a bump equally with both front tires, the steering
wheel sort of frees up and to continue going straight I have to turn the
wheel to the left and then the steering will slowly correct itself and I let
the wheel turn back to normal position. I've checked everything I can. I
have a JKS trackbar and have make sure it's tight and also checked the
steering box for a broken braket or bolt. I can't seem to find anything out
of the ordinary. Any help with this would be great.

Thanx
