So, does anyone know if there is a reward or something for catching and implementing personal justice on punk @$$'s that think they are "bad"?

This is what I get a phone call at 10:30am today for, I went to bed at 7am so not a good wake up call. My girlfriend calls me up crying, affraid I am going to bite her head off since it was one of my babies. She went out to eat at IHOP for breakfast at around 9:45am, and came back out to this at 10:30am.

Front drivers main window, trashed, tinting only thing holding it up.

Front windshield busted, and they shot the frame also, so a dent and chip of paint too, not too bad so it's still drivable. I just have to think that it was a BIG freakin rock that hit it

So the good news is I have 2 of the 3 windows. Bad news, the front one is about 3 months old or less and I was the one that had to pay for it, both sides have to get re-tinted, and no glass coverage. I guess I might have to get full coverage w/glass. Really sucks, everytime I can start saving money for mods, something gets broke. Lucky for me, I have 3 Jeeps so I didn't leave my girlfriend without a vehicle while I fix it, but it's going to kill me in the gas department. I know I already had a list of things I was going to do to it, but this is not the way I wanted to get it back to start on them.

OK, done ranting....now I must go back to bed, still have 2 more nights of work so sleep is my friend...

wow! So sorry to see that!! Nothing worse than to wake up to that.
I have had some similar problems since I live in an apt complex and unfortunately, no one has ever been caught. :rolleyes:

The one off of 75th ave & Encanto. Every time something like this has happened, the Jeeps have either been at my girlfriend's house or in her possession. Now I am thinking about getting new alarms for the 2 XJs with the paging. The TJ isn't getting driven as much now, and it already has a good alarm on it and it sits in the driveway here at my house and no one has tried anything to the vehicles so far.

Does you or your girlfriend have a disgruntled ex?:rolleyes: Is your Jeeep being targeted? From your post this isnt the first time, right? Sorry to hear man and yes, get some free glass insurance. Of course, nothings free.:rolleyes: I just had the windshield replaced in my TJ. Inch for inch, thats an expensive piece of straight window glass!:eek:

Damn dude that totally sucks.... I've got 2 sets of XJ glass ready to go...
Just call me.. we can work out a deal.. If your XJ wasn't street legal I'd offer up some PETG windows that are pretty much unbreakable.. Then there's always Lexan... :D

As for my girlfriend having ex's, none of them would know what she drives, since we have been together for over 5 years, and she broke up with them all on good terms (I know all of them since I went to high school with them). For her it's just bad luck. Most of the things that have happened were at her old house, breaking in and stealing the radio from her XJ, my CD case from mine, tried taking her XJ (good kill switch), Not sure what they were after when they busted the rear window on the TJ (I think tools as 4 other trucks on the street all had tools stolen, now thats a expensive piece of glass). Then she use to work at Safeway food, lucky for me I do have a alarm, so they didn't take anything, just busted a window. As for this round, it is just the area she was in, and being parked on the outside perimeter of the parking lot, just the luck of the draw. I haven't driven it lately so I doubt it was someone pissed off at me, but that is still a possibility.

As for the glass, I have the 2 side windows from my parts XJ I had. And the windshield is still good, it just put a chip in the upper corner and has a crack around it, but still good enough to use ( before I was driving it with a crack the split the window in half from top to bottom right in the middle so not a issue to me).

But like I said, I needed to do some work on it already. And she drives more then me now, and the grey XJ gets better MPG since it is closer to stock and has a lot less miles on it. Just the next few days I will have to drive the TJ until I swap out the side windows. Over all I am pissed, but I have already been to the school of hard knocks and crap, so I can deal with it. The Jeeps aren't my main concern right now, unless some steals one or one gets totalled. I am more focused on trying to find a house out of this area so I won't have to worry as much about my babies sitting outside.
