Hi I finally broke an axle shaft on my D35 with an arb. Do all arb d35s come with a c-clip elimnater kit? I am assuming that the c-clip eliminater presses on to the axle shaft. The axle is a 93 so it should use c-clips so it is not just an older one.
Now to the 8.8 swap info. I need some good links to a YJ 8.8 swap.
Thanks
John

John this should help but it is an easy swap in a YJ. Do not buy anything to adapt the e-brake as the last couple we did we just made a small bracket to pick up the 1" of space needed in the stack 8.8 cables. If you need any more info or have aquestion feel free to ask.

Hi Jim I know you have done several. I looked at that but did not see much that I didnot already know. I remember reading a couple over the years with god writeups & part lists & such I have the axle here at the house & just trying to see what else I need to buy prior to ripping it apart more. I know that you usually go SOA at the same time but I am happy with the current set up on my Jeep soa front sua rear. I seem to remember someone saying that the spring pads were close enough to use do you think that is right or should I cut them off & start over?
thanks

I did the 8.8 SUA first but did not use the stock mounts. I know others have and it works fine. My only question would be on setting the pinion angle. With the stock mounts you will need to shim it. If you start from scratch with new mounts you can set the angle without shims. That part is up to you. For more write ups try Goggle "Ford 8.8 swap" you will come up with lots to look through.
