My new ride...with pics!

I've always wanted a 4 wheel ATV. I grew up around atc's and I've ridden my buddies 4 wheelers many times. I came across a good deal on a 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660 and I couldn't pass it up.

I got every piece of gear possible with this bike and can't wait to ride it. I did a couple of runs around my neigborhood and holy **** this thing is fast. Now all I need is a trailer.

Good luck with it. I have a '01 Alba Raptor I got back when they first came out. In fact mine was the very first white Raptor I had seen at the time. I had a little pull when I bought it as I bought a matching Banshee at the same time and I told them they wouldn't have a deal if it wasn't white. To date I have had exactly zero problems with it.

Just don't slice a tire. When it was new I sliced a tire doing crown king. I finished the ride with abouty 15 plugs hanging out the sidewall....when I went to the dealer on Monday to get a price on these brand new, only quad other than a 400ex to have radial tires... :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Wanna sell the stock front reservoir shocks? These are supposed to be the cat's *** for the raptor.

If he doesn't want to sell them a buddy of mine just picked up the new 700 Raptor about 3 weeks ago. he just ordered new shocks for the front to go with his new wider A-arms. I believe the new 700 Raptors have the same front shocks as the YFZ? I could be wrong, so you may want to check. I can ask him if they're for sale if you're interested. I don't believe his new shocks came in yet, but I'd imagine it's anyday. He just turned 5 hours on it so the shocks are pretty much brand new (only rolled it once, last weekend) :D :D

I ride a Polaris Predator and these new 4 strokes are great. Nice Raptor!

I am waiting to see how the 06' Raptors hold up with the fuel injection. Would be nice at times, but I have no complaints about my 05' Raptor, except I need new rear skid and a pipe and a....oh the list is just like the Jeeps...it never ends....
