View Full Version : Need to buy a trailer...

I'm looking for suggestions on dealerships where I can buy a utility trailer to haul my new raptor 660 and haul heavy home depot loads and stuff to the dump. A harbor freight trailer just isn't gonna work.

I've been scouring the papers/ classifieds/etc... and I keep striking out. The items are either sold or junk.

I'm looking for an all steel flatbed with a ramp tailgate roughly 5'x8' and could be as large as 6'x10'.

Any suggestions on reputable dealers or otherwise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Try searching here: http://phoenix.oodle.com/

They are sort of a search engine for the local classifieds such as the AZ Republic, Green Sheet and Craigs List.

Try searching http://phoenix.craigslist.com as well.

The link I posted searches Craigs List automatically but yeah, Craig's List is a great classifieds resource.

Last week at Home Depot(Ray Rd/i-17) i noticed that they were selling trailers.I've seen some in past that they sold, but these look entirely more durable.I've believe they had two different sizes.

I agree with Gravleys in the east valley. If they dont have what you want they will make it! I bought mine from there. I was very happy with the service. Stay away from the Home Depot/Harbor freight CRAP.

I hear ya. I have a harbor freight that I was given and I wouldn't haul manure on it.

I'll check out gravely's.

home depot is totaly different than harbor freight, I had a trailer bought frm them that was wells cargo, home depot carries major brands of trailers not knockoffs.

Im building my own this month, most are so over built for car hauling they weight more than the jeep that is on it!

Which home depot's carry the trailers at the stores? I don't recall ever seeing any.

I've seen them at the HD at the SW corner of Alma School and Chandler Blvd. They have them lined up out front there.
