Man, if I didn't all ready have too many vehicles sitting in the yard and had an extra $20k, I'd like to have something like this.

NO RESERVE>>>>>>Up for sell is a 2005 model tube chassis with Rear steer. This is a one of a kind rig with the only rear steer axle in the ROCK CRAWLING CIRCUIT. This buggy was built with ONLY the best of all parts. It all starts with a Chevy 350 VORTEC. K&N air filter flowtec headers flowmaster exhaust. Transmission is turbo 350 with heavy spag gears clutches and band. ART CARR shifter with cut out gates for a fast reverse or first gear? Transfer case is a Dana 300 with currie twin sticks, Tera-Low 4-1 gear kit with advance adaptor heavy duty 32 spline output shaft with Spicer 1410 u-joint. The front axle is a WMS front axle it is built with a high pinion Dana 60 with passenger side drop Narrowed to 64in wide. It has a double End hydraulic steering ram with QA1 rod end top of the line (48000 pound) PSC clevis ends 4.88 gears Detroit lockers 4340 axle shafts inter /outer, WARN 35 spline drive flanges, duel piston brake calipers all brake lines are flex front to rear. With a WILWOOD duel brake Master cylinder. The REAR AXLE is a one of a kind WMS axle. with a HIGH pinion center section and 2 1/2 Rockwell outer knuckles. YES you have an UNBREAKABLE rear steer axle. Stand it staight up and hammer down it doesn’t matter. This axle has a u-joint 4 times the size as a 60 u-joint. And don't have that big mess of a 2 1/2 axle under you buggy. INSIDE of the rear axle you have a Detroit locker 4.88 gears and a 4340 axle shafts. It also has the same parts on the rear as the front for steering. It is all power with PARKER/ PSC hydraulic system. The rims are 17in TRAIL READY with 42in IROC. Front winch is a 6000 WARN, the rear winch is a 2500,g-force seat belts, RCI fuel tank, FOX AIR SHOCKS BTF battery box, Moroso master kill switch, Kirkey seats, Auto Meter gauges and all 1 1/4DOM-control arms with a 1 1/2 sleeve. Looks like a Hendrix X chassis to me.. That's not one of a kind.. lol... You can get these Chassis and build them how ever you want..

I don't think I could build one for that price, and it would probably take forever to finish.
At the current bid of 15.8K, it seems like a pretty cool toy.

Think you can build one for less than that ?
I probablly couldn't due to lack of equiptment and space but I know John K. at Hunter Offroad could...

If you include your time as an expense you can not touch something like that building it yourself for that amount of money. It is a great buggy but they are probably selling it to go to the newer type with a 4 banger with turbo for size and weight savings. Buying used saves you a lot of money over building. I could not sell my YJ for anything near what I have in it. Personally I still like running something that I built.
