I actually wheeled with a couple of those guys here at the White Tanks. At the time that maroon one with no bed was the best set up righ they had. They all had the Jeep Recovery stickers on them.

One of them got really stuck on a waterfall, after many attempts with one of their rigs to get unstuck, he asked "does anyone have a real truck that can get me unstuck", I responded with, "well there is a Jeep back there"...LOL He refused and said he would never let a Jeep pull him out, I reminded him of the trail rules, after 30 seconds it becomes an obstacle... :D

I drove the guy nuts, he tried taking his Yote on all the hard lines, couldn't make all of them and the ones he did he bent and broke parts of his rig the whole way. I followed their maroon one up and over every obstacle, neither of us had any problems.

At the end of the trip we hit the sand dune, he again made a comment about here is where the longer wheelbase rigs excell over a Jeep, he, he, couldn't resist. They did some shooting of the bowl, if you can even call it that on that little dune. I proceeded to shoot the bowl, however doing so with mine sliding sideways at a much higher rate of speed, to which I then came down and did a donut in the soft stuff at the base where my left front tire just sat in one spot and I spun around. After I was done I asked him if he had any more questions... :D

To top it off, one of the Taco's broke a pulley, they coud not figure out how to get him home. Since it was to the Power Steering box I asked how strong he felt. We removed the belt, then used zip ties to hold it in place and he had to drive home on armstrong power. Funny thing is in all of thier little fishing box tool sets none of them had any zip ties. Also loaned them some mechanics gloves to work in the hot area.

Was a fun day, but sure made me appreciate having a Jeep even more... :D

I had the pleasure to meet Kirk once. He has the White SAS 4 door Tacoma. I must say that it was one of the nicest rigs I've ever see no matter what the make. I forget the lift size, but he's running 36" Iroks with custom built HP 44's front and rear and can run just about any trail he wants. The best part is he still has room for his family and camping supplies, not something that many jeepers can claim. He even invited me to go on some runs with the AZTTORA guys  Yota guys are just like Jeepers, you've got your good apples and your bad ones.
