I'd probably be able to make it Sat night.

I'll need to sit out H2H though.

so are you in TOM? That would be great if you could make it. Looks like we may have a larger turnout of 6+ rigs right now.

The Plan: meet cottonwood canyon 6-6:30 pull out a bit after 6:30. CB channel 15. Run upper Ajax and possibly the ajax loop. I would like to skip lower ajax. Than those that are willing run down to HWTH or if time permitting we could all run lower woodpecker and those brave enough to stay in the wash will and those that want to head out or just watch can take the exit before HWTH.

Anyone know what the weather is going to look like this weekend?

Per my post over on Undertakers...I'm really doubtful that I'll be able to make it. But if miracles occur, and the wife gets home early enough from her girly outing with my Mom and Sister...then I'll try to get down there. Got your number so will call IF I'M COMING. If no call...head on out and don't wait for me.

Are you guys still going to be out there Sat. Night?

I think I would like to run Ajax but that would be all.

Can't make Saturday but want to know what the level of Jeep you need to have for the woodpeckers and Ajax. I'm unter the impression from previous stories that I wouldn't be good for HWTH.

Heya, I'm back in town for a while and haven't taken the submarine out for a while. I'm in for Friday and/or Saturday.

I already put up the info for all that want to attend. meeting at cottonwood canyon 6-6:30 pull out soon after 6:30. running Upper AJax first than HWTH for those that want to. Depends on how good of a driver you are but I would say 33's and a lockers you could do Ajax.

The weather folks on TV are sayin' that the monsoon is going to taper off the next couple days and then pick back up Friday and Saturday. So, you need to keep an eye on the weather. Those FJ washes fill up fast. I still remember quite clearly the Jamboree run through Jawbreaker a few years ago when a huge storm hit us and a flashflood came rumbling through. After that, every wash out there was flowing.

I can run the Woodpecker trails on my 3" lift, and 32's, locked in front. I can do half of Upper Ajax with that right now.. it was dark, and only two rigs when I ran it so we backed off before it got too bad. H2H, be ready for body damage.. good lift, 35's, and fully locked is recommended..... some day I'll be SO there. :D

Yea it can get really dangerous out there I was on a FTX and we needed to get air lifted out we couldnt hump it.

the weather channel says hig of 101 low 80 but no rain as of right now. It looks like the t-storms will be friday and sunday. Hopefully it will be a good night. I will take 101 anyday around here in the summer.

All are welcome to attend the run but I am going to put out a disclamer now:

Locked and motified vehicles only. Ready to tackle some trails and not affraid of body damage. We will be using ajax as a warm up....

Yea turned out to be a very fun trip. Had a great time and could beet the weather this AM. Upper ajax got a little harder than what I remember so that made it a lot more fun than expected. No really issues that couldnt be overcome. Mental note..... Do not drive down waterfall backwards:)
