Hey all. Got my first Jeep back in July. '07 JK Unlimited X.

Took it out once so far with a friend. Sheep Crossing. Had an absolute blast. Looking forward to doing this more.

Hope it's cool if I just link to the Google Photos page.

Cool pics, thanks for taking the time to post them!

You are now hooked! Start looking for a second job so you can afford the upgrades! :)

It was great. Very easy run, so good for my first time. You need some clearance, but it can be done in 2WD.

And while this isn't my video (unfortunately... looks like they had a blast), this is a pretty good representation of what you can do there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjB7E-3B6QU

*sigh* yeah, so many things. First thing I need is a swing arm carrier for the spare. The Jeep came with 35" tires but just a stock spare mounted. I've got the 5th 35" tire, but have been told the tailgate won't hold the weight.

... and that's just the start :)

Plenty. I am photographer on the side so I am fairly skilled with editing. It was shot in RAW and edit in Lightroom

Sweet. It looks great. I was just thinking though if you took that shot without any processing I was on my way to the store to buy that camera. :). Nice work. It looks great with excellent texture.

thanks for posting. I am an AZ native, but I had never heard of this spot before. My wife and I drove out to sheep crossing bridge this weekend. great drive. Only wish there was a way to cross the Verde river to make a loop instead of having to head back the way we came.

There is, if the river's low enough. Good forest road down the east side of the river and Horseshoe Lake, then you cross the Verde again at the ranch below Horseshoe Dam.
