Powerline Trail: 07-24-05

It's my birthday Sunday so I'm wheeling.

Gonna do the Powerline Trail, a.k.a. Hackberry Creek.

Plan on meeting at the rest area in Superior at 7:30 AM and leave for the trailhead at 8:00 AM.

It's forcast to rain Sunday so it should be fun!

I've got it posted on the old site, so sign up for it there.

I've done this trail only once so if there's somebody who knows it better than me, your more than welcomed to lead the way.

We all had a great time wheeling today. What a way to spend your birthday wheeling with great people on a great trail.

We had three rigs total. Got to meet TBob with his Tacoma. Nice Truck Bob! You did an awesome job on that obstacle. Your GPS came in handy too. I gotta get one of those things.

Bryan broke in his new Rubi today with a few scrapes and scratches. For being stock it did very well, although I did have to pull him up over that one obstacle. I believe a lift kit is in works for the near future. Oh! Bryan you need to remove those crunched plastic bumper thingys. I told you those were going to be the first things to get damaged.

It was just a perfect day! Hopefully this trail doesn't close because of that dang mine they're planning on digging.

Nice pic's, that's a fun trail isn't it.

My dad and I actually ran it on Monday. :cool: Caught a bit of rain, not hot at all.

One thing we like about this area is how clean it is, thanks to everyone who enjoys this area for not leaving a mess. :cool:
