I just bought a skid row engine skid plate for my '98 TJ. If someone could help me to install this who knows what they are doing (I don't ;) ) I would greatly appreciate it. I will be happy to provide the beverage of your choice. I live in Chandler. I am willing to do the actual work, I just don't want to goof anything up since I am not much of a mechanic.
Thanks!

The engine skid is a piece of cake. It was the first thing I did to my Jeep.
Did you read the instructions and not understand something ?
Where in Chandler are you and when did you want to do it ? Daytime is too damm hot unless your shop has A/C. :D

I don't know what I am doing, but I'd be glad to lend a hand if you need it depending on when you plan to work on it. I am in Chandler as well.

I looked over the instructions, and it seems like it should be pretty straight forward. I would still appreciate having someone who knows what they are doing on hand to make sure I do it right.
I live in Dobson Place - near Gilbert/Chandler Blvd. My garage has no A/C, just a floor fan ;) It is certainly too hot during the day, most evenings would work for me.

Well, I installed the skid yesterday. The photos on the instruction sheet were a bit muddy, but I found some great clear pics on the skidrow website that were very helpful.

Good deal. I just finished my work week and was going to see if you still needed help. Time to test it out now !

Thanks! As you say, once I saw what I needed to do it was a piece of cake. I am not much of a mechanic and if I can say that it must be ;-). I am looking forward to testing it out!
