I'm looking for suggestions on where to get my front passenger side upper control arm mount replaced on the axle. I am trying trying to avoid spending a small fortune. I wish I could weld, but that is just something I cant do yet (I am starting a class next month). I know 4wheelers can do it easily, but they most likely have a waiting list to get the jeep in there, plus I don't want to drive that far due the shape of the mount. I live in NW Phoenix. Can anyone recommend anyone in the area, or know of someone that can hook me up reasonably. Thanks.

Dave,
You might try Duffy Ladd. He used to own a shop in Cali before he moved here. I understand he still does cages, tire carriers, and such. I will PM you with info.
Take care,

If you can get the jeep to my place (35th Ave/Union Hills), I'd be more than happy to weld it up for you.
I'd offer to come to you, but I've got about 30 hours of stuff to do every day, and well, last time I checked, we still only have 24

Woody that would be great if I you could help me out. Right now the way it is I think I can drive it somewhere to get it fixed, but the mount is about to come completely off. How hard is it to get the axle cleaned up and the old wlelds ground off to get the new one welded on. Would you be willing to help with that part too, it is all something I have never done, and I am a bit leary to start grinding on the axle tube myself.
