Wow! What a great city. I arrived last night around 10pm at my buddy's place in Scottsdale. Today I picked up my business partner from the airport and did a little site seeing. Went to North Scottsdale and Carefree. I'm amazed at all the local talent and how well kept the cities appear to be.

Tomorrow I'm taking my business partner to the Pink Jeep Safari tour in Sedona then he heads back to Tampa tomorrow night. I'll be here through the 18th, what are some other parts of AZ that are worthy of checking out? I have a few open days next week and will like to explore as much as I can before I go back. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jon

The typical stuff, Grand Canyon (though the Oak Canyon area in Sedona will rival that) and the metor crater would be neat.

I would check out the town of Prescott by taking the back road up through Wickenburg. I think you'll really like that drive and maybe come back through Pason instead of staying on the highway.

Yeah, I Know. Sedona Jeep School looks like alot more fun. I showed my business partner some pictures of when I went to Ocala National Forrest (in florida) last year and rolled my TJ. To say the least, I think he would perfer me not to drive, not that I'm a bad driver just first impression of the sport. So that and the fact he's twentyfive years older I thought taking a much more light and easy going trip would also be fun.

Now I, myself, am up for anything anytime. I can't wait until I fully move here. I'm near a temporary satisifaction point with my TJ. I have a few more loose ends to tie up and I should be ready to play with even a much more xtreme group than before.

When I get back to tampa I'll post some pic's of my beast in action. So you guys can see how serious I really am.

Is it Pink Jeep or Safari? Big difference. Either way, have fun--Maybe I will see you on the trail. I have been working on exploring Arizona for 26 years and still haven't seen it all--you are going to love it! Some "cool" place to visit: Grand Canyon (of course); Jerome; Flagstaff--Sunset Crater & Wupatki National Monument, the lava tubes, Stoneman Lake; Crown King; Sedona--Oak Creek Canyon...get truckin'!

It is, if I do say so, myself! :D Stop in just to say if you have the chance. Thanks for the plug, Qman.

Hi Nena,

I believe it was Pink Jeep Tours (the one that's been around the longest). I couldn't believe the amazing scenery!  I so can't wait until I bring my Jeep out here. In florida the really only hot spot is in the Ocala National Forest which doesn't come anywhere close to this.

All in all I had a blast during the tour and recommend it to anyone. I wish I could only spend more time in Sedona but we had to haul *** to the airport afterwards. I have some pending plans but if they fall through you'll know where to find me.
