Refurbishing heater enclosure

Ironic that the temp in the valley is supposed to be 112 today, and I want to get information about heaters. I have a 1987 YJ getting ready for paint. The dash is out, along with alot of other stuff. So I figure now is a good time to replace the heater core and blower motor. So those parts and seals are on their way from Quadratec. While I'm waiting the week for the parts, I thought I would refurbish the enclosure that holds the heater core and blower motor. Has anyone any experience with this. The foam on the baffles are nearly all gone, simply rotted away. What can I use to replace it, and where can I get it.
