OK, if you hear of someone suddenly having an ARB for a D60, 4 Bilstein coilovers without springs or a new custom aluminum radiator with alum. shroud and elec fan, please give us a call at 480 288-4213 or the Apache Junction Police dept at 480-982-8260.
There are a few other things missing, but these are the really high-dollar items that were absconded with.
Thanks, in advance, for keepin your eyes open.
If we get the call and catch these people, there is no promise that they'll make it to the police station. I friggin hate criminals.
Sorry to here about it guys... :( i had my Wallet Stolen from the Gym last week... i know how it feels to be violated.. they ran up over $4000 in Gift card purchases at Target and Big 5 along with a few other places.... i can't believe it didn't raise any questions as to why someone was buying so many gift cards.. and get this, the stores said there is nothing they can do to track the Gift cards... i find that Odd..
oh well hope you catch the Bastards.... as soon they clear up my Credit cards ill be in there to DONATE SOME MONEY to your cause...... ;) glad no one was hurt.. i thought about you guys the other night thinking how vulnrable you are when you are working there late at night.. keep safe and If there is anything i can do to help you secure the SHop better LEt me now....
thanks again for the Axles.....when it cools down a bit and i get organized i may find the time to install them.. if not it will be rolling your way in a few months.....

Man, that is messed up. In my mind though the worse thing about parts like ours that get stolen is that someone knows what they are looking for. You gotta know what you are looking at to steal an ARB or some coilovers. And if we can't trust some of our own then who can we trust.

Sorry to hear about the break in. I hope they catch the people that did it, and you folks get 5-10 minutes alone with them.
Take care,
S
Whats the point of having a great rig if everything (or anything for that matter) is stollen? I have a hard time believing that they are just going to turn around and sell the items...people talk and if everyone keeps their eyes and ears open you will catch your criminals  Just talk to people and get the word out.

Yeah, there is a security system, and it did its job. The police station is right across the streeet, too... ballsy fuggahs.
They only took items from the shop office, and what was apparently readily available.
I also an suspicious of the items taken, as there were a pair of King coilovers, some CTMs and other items in there that were untouched but still in plain view. Someone knew what was there, period.
I cannot recall the full list that Todd told me, and i haven't been in this week to see for myself what is gone. once I get a complete list, I'll post it up here.
It was about $3000 cost worth of products total.
We are taking measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.
We're just very thankful that none of the customer vehicles were taken or tampered with.
Also, thanks for keeping your eyes peeled for us!

I agree... when my stereo was stolen out of my Jeep at a ball game I kept wishing that the law would allow judges to sentence the criminals, door knobs, jerk offs, but munching low life, scale jam, waste of good breathable air, human life, to 5 minutes or more time left alone with the victim and the victim has immunity. Now that would put some fairness to the sentencing portion of crimes.
Scale Jam = Like toe jam, but on a scaly creature like a snake... :D
I hope they get caught and you get yoru stuff back.

Sorry to hear about this. It's hard to believe with alarms and police so close they didn't catch them in the act. I'll keep an eye on ebay, craigslist and local papers for anyone selling this stuff.

Just kidding! Saw your rig over there last week when Todd and Glenn were working on my winch and axle shaft install.

This is a little off subject But we all look out for each other
Had a customer came in this morning with 4 brand new tires wanting the tires mounted & balanced at no charge claiming he paid for everything.. Asking for his reciept he had none & no history in the cumputer system.. his story changed he claimed his sister bought them for him.. OK next question what is your sisters phone number to look at her history Umm he could not rember her number OK next question what is her name once again to look up the history.. Feeling uneasy at this time he claims his paper work is in the truck & he will go get it I walk out with him to retreive the so called paper work..........
He gets in the truck starts it & drives off in a big hurry
I did get his plate number & the name he gave us & notifying all Discount Tires in the valley to be on the look out we ( Discount Tire ) did not have anything stolen in this size & brand so no Cops were involved
I REALLY hate a theif being a victim sevral time myself.. If I have a chance to bust you I will
I busted 2 kids stealing wheels once a few years back as I escorted them back in the store they were whinning please let us go they were on probation... I told them well you should have thought about that before you took the wheels turns out my wife works with one of the kids mother & of course I had to hear it from her also

It should be legal to hunt the low life scum dogs done and beat them senseless. When one of our XJ's got ripped off and totaled awhile back I really wanted to stomp the morons *****. The police never caught up with the pig!!
Hope they catch the jerks!!

Yeah... whatever happened to debtor's and prison colonies??
I am also scouring the various for sale spots and haven't come up with anything.
2 orbitals were the other big ticket items.
Brand new, in the box PSC orbitals... those are odd items that someone would be selling.
As far as I know (Todd may post up later with other smaller items) this and the other items mentioned before are all that were taken.
I still say that this is too directed to not have been someone who had been in the shop at some point.

Talking this over with another member today and I have to agree with you Thump. The things that were stolen does not make it a random theft. It wasn't like they broke into a Napa or Checker. They knew what they were after which means that they either knew you all or had been with someone in the shop. Which in my eyes makes it the worst kind of stealing.
And Devilman, I agree with you fully. There are a lot of holes in this desert that no one would ever see.

All I have to say is god help the person or people that did this. If I ever find out who did this It will not be good

Because i used to hunt in the sonora desert all the time, I know of a few mine shafts (straight down) in the middle of the desert. Takes about 20 sec for a rock to hit bottom...that would be a great place!

I will definitely make it to wherever the night these degenerates are caught for the "party."
For those that don't know what a Super Strap is... it is a snatch strap with a difference. Instead of one measly one loop, it has several. It's made by Red Art (makers of Beard Seats and other items you all love).

Eric You think we need help
Reminds me of a quote from the Clint Eastwood movie "The Outlaw Josie Wales" after Josie (Clint) shoots a couple guys:
Kid: Shouldn't we bury them there fellas, Josie?
Josie: Why? Buzzard's gotta eat same as worms.
AWESOME movie!!!
Good luck getting a lead on the guys who took the stuff Glenn/Todd.

Of couse it was your fault. Parents like these suck, no wonder why we have problems. If it was my kid I would have no problem if the police held on to him/her for a few days. I fired a kid that worked for me because he stole from me. I called the mother and let her know what happened, she chewed my ***** out saying that we need to help these kids. I told her I did by calling her and not the Police. She hates me to this day.
Anyways, a friend of mine broke down late one friday afternoon in Florence Jct, and Desert Fab bailed us out on a Friday night so our weekend was not ruined. Sorry that someone would do such a thing to these guys.

Ain't t just insane how the mind works these days?? "I or a person I am responsible for did a very bad thing and got caught. I'm going to be mad at and blame the person I wronged"
What a friggin crock o' poo.
I seem to recall that night. Was a few months back, wasn't it? I can think of several times we were in the same scenario for different folks. That is just the DesertFab way or workign, though. We're not stuck up, and will always keep our friends and customers close. We'll do what we can to make sure folks are able to stay or get back to running. Thanks for the praise... it really does make us work harder for more of the same... cause we're attention ho's LOL.

Was a yellow YJ with a broken front shackle mount, Hackle refered us to you. 3 hours from home and two days of wheeling left. Sure made my buddy's weekend.
