View Full Version : Project '58 JEEP FC-170 Needs a Home

I ran across this old FC 170 Jeep at a U-Haul lot here in Phoenix. I don't know much about it, other than it's a '58 FC 170 4WD 6 Cyl. I vaguely recall them from my childhood, but haven't seen one in years. This poor guy really looks like he could use a good home. I spoke to the the owner and he said he hasn't really had the time to work on it. He would consider selling if anyone is interested. I thought I'd post a pic or two just in case someone out there has been looking for a project like this. It's not mine and I don't get anything out of it, except maybe the satisfaction of hooking this Jeep up with someone who can restore it to its former glory. PM if you want to know where it is and who you can contact if you're interested and want to know more.

Old willys forum would be the best place for this. If you're not a member there, I'll cross post for you. There is a guy in New River that drives around an old FC150. I've seen him a couple times headed back from Wickenburg at 45 miles per hour.

Cool old Jeep. Never seen one of those. I love the bullett hole almost dead center in the windshield!

Yeah, it's a neat old truck. I wish I had the the 3 Ts needed to restore it: Time, talent and treasure. If one has a surplus of treasure the time and talent are no longer a requirement
